Source: Wintermantel, W. M. et al. 2001. First report of tomato chlorosis virus in Puerto Rico. Plant Disease, 85(2), p 228.
Tomato chlorosis crinivirus (ToCV) was recently observed for the first time in Puerto Rico, marking the first detection of ToCV in the Caribbean region. ToCV, which can be transmitted by whiteflies, causes interveinal chlorosis, necrotic flecking, and thickening and rolling of tomato leaves.
