Subject: Scented pine cones infested with Cerambycid larvae

There is a National Recall for Scented Pine Cones (ID #054 06 1000) distributed by the Target Corporation of Minneapolis, MN. These items are infested with live larvae (Cerambycidae) Chlorophorus species. The pine cones are packaged within seasonal potpourri boxes and have been distributed to Target Corporation outlets throughout the United States. The pine cones were shipped/manufactured by Lerman Décor of Ontario, Canada and originated in India. Live larvae have been found in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and North Carolina. These items are being recalled by Target and will be destroyed under USDA supervision.
